How much studio time will I need to book for my project?

Every project is of course different, and there are certain variables that govern how long you will need. We can cater to your budget so please contact us to discuss your specific project.
As an overview, here are a few of the variables:
- How well prepared you are, knowing your material inside out is a big time saver in the studio.
- The complexity of elements within your project; An acoustic & vocal will of course be faster to record than a 10 piece band.
- The duration of your material, a longer song will generally take longer to record.
- The performers ability, generally speaking the largest excess of time is spent perfecting a performance, make sure you are well rehearsed.
- Make sure any equipment you bring is in good working order and appropriately set up.

CAN I COME AND LOOK AT THE STUDIO BEFORE BOOKING?

Yes, get in touch and we’ll arrange a time for you to visit and discuss your project.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?

 We require a 50% deposit to secure your booking and full payment must be received before we can release any masters, audio files or session files.


CAN I TAKE THE FILES AWAY TO MIX ELSEWHERE?

Yes, we can provide you with multitrack audio files, stems or a Pro Tools session to take away on your hard drive or we can burn them on to DVD’s. Please discuss this with us in advance.

Can I bring my own engineer / producer?

Yes, get in touch to discuss your individual requirements.

What do I need to bring to my session?

We have a great selection of equipment that you can use during your session however we suggest that you bring your own gear too, its often best to have all options available so we can make the appropriate choice for your project. Will my session be backed up?

We backup all our data whilst working on your project, we recommend you bring a hard drive to your final session so you can take a final backup away with you.

IS THERE ANYWHERE TO STAY THE NIGHT NEAR BY?

There are some great hotels and B&Bs locally, and a Travel Lodge just down the road from us.

IS THERE ANYWHERE TO EAT NEAR BY?

There are plenty of great restaurants, pubs & take-aways within walking distance of the studio, we also have a supermarket next door and a microwave in the kitchen.


Does the studio have internet?

Yes we have free wifi available.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers, cash and cheques.
Please note : cheques are required to clear before we can release any masters / confirm sessions.

Can I work for you or do you have work experience placements available?

Unfortunately we currently have no positions available. Follow our social media to hear of any positions that become available.

Can you supply session musicians or voice actors?

Yes, we have a vast network of talented musicians and actors that we can supply for your project. Get in touch and we’ll advise you on your specific needs.

How can I get involved in Empire Acoustic Sessions?

We have a high demand to feature in our live sessions, slots are limited but please contact us to be considered for a session.
